Brick and stone made house can't eacape from collapsing in big earthquake.In contrast,log house always stand erect after the earthquake.Its lighter body absorbs less earthquake wave.In big earthquake,log house may change shape but will not fall apart,or it may be moved by the earthquake wave,even the whole building be moved out of the groundsill, the configuration still exist.
